Authors Guidelines
Author(s) guidelines may change from time to time and the latest version at the time of your submission is applicable and will be applied to your manuscript.
It is our expectation that you know, understand and comply with the Author(s) guidelines of Mayfair Journals as well as those rules for Authors in each journal if variations exist.
- A manuscript for submission must not contain any information that identifies the author(s). Personal details must be excluded from a manuscript for review.
- Any person(s) may submit an original scholarly article to be considered for publication in Mayfair Journals. Such a person must own the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner(s) to submit the article.
- Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book. Furthermore, by submitting material to Mayfair Journals, the author has indicated that the material is not currently under review at another journal and that the submitted material will not be submitted to another journal until the completion of the editorial decision process at Mayfair Journals or the manuscript is withdrawn whichever is sooner.
- Any author who fails to adhere to the above conditions will be charged costs incurred by Mayfair Journalsfor their manuscript at the discretion of Mayfair Journals, and their manuscript will be rejected.
- Manuscripts are accepted in English.
- A manuscript will not exceed 7500 words excluding tables and references.
- A short report or case study will not exceed 3500 words
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- The manuscript text should be single-spaced; use a 12-point font.
- Manuscripts should be organised in the following order:
Title page;
Abstract – should not be more than 200 words;
Keywords;
Main text;
Acknowledgements (as necessary);
References and;
Appendices (as appropriate).
- Tables and Figures should be included in the main text.
- Each manuscript should have 6 keywords to optimise citation potential.
- Only one author can be the corresponding author.
- APA (American Psychological Association) reference style is widely recommended for the manuscripts handled by Mayfair Journals. For more information on APA referencing guidelines
- Submission of manuscripts should be made online at the Mayfair Journals website. First time users should first create an account. Once logged on to the site, submissions should be made via the Author Centre.
- Author(s) agreement becomes effective when you submit a manuscript to any of Mayfair Journals lines. Please refer to the Terms of Author(s) Agreement
Terms of the Author(s) Agreement
1. The manuscript(s) to be submitted to Mayfair Journals must be original scholarly work(s) of the author(s).
2. The manuscripts for submission should not have been previously published either in part or in full.
3. The manuscripts for submission should not have been submitted to another journal or currently undergoing publication processes in another journal.
4. The contributions of the individual authors have been evaluated sufficient to be included as an author of the manuscript.
5. All materials used in the manuscript must be cited; must be included in list of references.
6. All authors have reviewed the final version of the manuscript and have approved its submission to the relevant Mayfair journals.
7. Adequate permissions (as appropriate) have been granted to the author(s) to guide against infringement on copyrights, grant and sponsorship agreements.
Author(s) agrees to pay the required manuscript handling fee for all manuscript accepted.
